When you use Panely, we may collect:

  • Account information: email address used to sign in via magic link authentication.
  • Uploaded data: CSV, Excel, JSON, Parquet, or image files you upload to generate dashboards.
  • Payment information: billing details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and performance metrics collected via Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Device information: browser type, operating system, and screen size for analytics and compatibility.

2. How we use your data

  • To generate and serve your dashboards.
  • To authenticate your account and manage sessions.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • To send transactional emails (login links, billing receipts).

3. Data storage and security

Your uploaded files are processed to generate dashboards and stored securely on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We retain uploaded files only as long as needed to serve your dashboards.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Google Cloud Platform: infrastructure, hosting, and data storage.
  • Stripe: payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics (GA4): anonymous usage analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.

5. Cookies

Panely uses cookies for authentication sessions and analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish users and track site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.

6. Your rights

You may:

  • Request a copy of your data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Opt out of analytics tracking by using browser privacy tools or extensions.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your uploaded files or personal information with third parties except as described above (infrastructure, payments, email) or as required by law.

8. Children's privacy

Panely is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site.
