Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Panely ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

Panely is a platform that generates interactive dashboards from uploaded data files (CSV, Excel, JSON, Parquet, images). The Service includes dashboard generation, hosting, and sharing functionality.

3. Accounts

You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Your data

• You retain ownership of all data you upload to Panely.
• You grant Panely a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of generating and serving your dashboards.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any data you provide.
• Do not upload data that contains sensitive personal information (SSNs, health records, etc.) unless you have appropriate authorization.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Upload malicious files or content designed to exploit the system.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission.
• Use automated systems to scrape or overload the Service.

6. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period. You can cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Dashboard sharing

Dashboards you share via link are accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for managing who you share links with. Panely is not responsible for unauthorized access to shared dashboards.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Panely available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of liability

Panely is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States.
